Cancellation policy

1. Purpose

These Cancellation Terms are intended to inform users of the rules applicable to cancellation, termination and, where applicable, reimbursement of subscriptions offered by Tavondi on the website tavondi.com.

They apply to the different offers marketed by Tavondi, including the Unlimited Booking Assistant subscription and the Magazine subscription, in addition to the General Terms and Conditions of Sale.

2. General cancellation principle

The user may request cancellation of their subscription at any time.

Unless otherwise provided for by the relevant offer, by the General Terms and Conditions of Sale or by applicable law, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Until that date, the user retains access to the service corresponding to the subscribed plan.

3. Relevant offers

3.1 – Pay-per-booking

The pay-per-booking service fee of €1 is charged per confirmed taxi booking at the time of confirmation. It is non-refundable once confirmed, except in the event of an error by the platform.

3.2 – Magazine

The digital magazine subscription is available for €7.60 (incl. VAT) per month.

Billing begins seven (7) days after the subscription date. At the end of this period, the subscription is automatically renewed unless the Customer cancels it beforehand. The frequency of payments may vary, depending on the billing cycle selected at the time of subscription.

The subscription is for an indefinite term and may be cancelled at any time.

4. Cancellation methods

The customer may cancel at any time:

  • through the unsubscribe form available on the Contact page,
  • from the Manage my subscription page,
  • or through the chat available on the website, which should be used as a priority for any request.

The user must submit their request before the next due date if they wish to avoid the next charge. In case of difficulty, the user is invited to use the chat as a priority in order to be assisted in the process.

5. Effects of cancellation

Unless the right of withdrawal is exercised or a more favourable commercial guarantee applies, cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid for.

No cancellation penalty applies to subscriptions of indefinite duration that may be cancelled at any time.

Where a customer has subscribed to both the Unlimited Booking Assistant and the Magazine, cancellation of one does not automatically cancel the other, unless a specific offer expressly provides otherwise.

6. Right of withdrawal

In accordance with the rules applicable to distance contracts, the consumer customer has a period of fourteen (14) days from subscription to exercise the right of withdrawal, whether for the Unlimited Booking Assistant or the Magazine.

The right of withdrawal may be exercised by means of a clear and unambiguous statement sent from the customer account area, by email or by means of the standard withdrawal form where it is made available.

In the event of a valid exercise of the right of withdrawal, the sums actually paid for the relevant service are refunded within a maximum period of fourteen (14) days from receipt of the request.

If the customer expressly requested that the service begin before the end of the withdrawal period, the customer remains liable for an amount proportionate to the service already provided up to the date of withdrawal.

The right of withdrawal cannot be exercised for services fully performed before the end of the legal period where performance began with the customer’s prior express consent and express waiver of the right of withdrawal, in the cases provided for by applicable laws.

7. Commercial guarantee and refund

Tavondi offers a commercial guarantee of the “satisfied or refunded” type.

The customer may request reimbursement of their last paid subscription period. This guarantee is independent from the legal right of withdrawal.

Any refund request made under this guarantee may relate only to the most recent charge. The request may be submitted via chat, from the customer account area or by email.

If accepted, the refund is made within a maximum period of fourteen (14) days. This commercial guarantee is in addition to the consumer’s legal rights and does not replace them.
